My mom just vomited all over every remote control used in our living room… how can I disinfect it?
How Can I clean the remote controls without destroying them? I am a major germ freak and she completely covered them in vomit.. I would buy new ones but… 2 are OEM standard remotes that come with my TV and my surround sound system so will be expensive to replace if I even can… and another is a expensive Playstation 3 BLU ray remote… only one viable for replacement is our cable tv remote… Also… She is not vomiting because she is non self inflicted sick.. she is a severe alcoholic and I go through this shit everyday so DONT call me a jerk as you don’t know the full story behind it all… I have been exposed to so many different bodily fluids in our house than you can think of.. and I’m not an OBSESSIVE germaphobe but umm… Tv remotes are something u use a lot atleast most people and Ide rather not have vomit germs all over my hands everytime I wanna switch the channel ya feel me?

Home Theater dimmer switches – want to control 2 switches side by side (dual gang) w/IR Remote Control. HELP!?
I am renovating my basement and putting in a nice home theater. My main TV room will have two light switches side-by-side, one controls recessed lighting on each side of the room. I am looking for a brand of dimmer switch that I can use 1 remote control (will be programming my new Logitech Harmony universal remote) to control both light switches (independently). I am having a hard time finding such an item, but it can’t be that rare! I have found one brand (3BM) that comes with a remote control that can control up to 3 switches, so is that a decent brand?
I have heard of people doing this, but I don’t know what brand of switches I can use! There are many brands that 1 remote controls 1 switch, but I have 2 switches right next to each other (dual-gang box) that control different sides of the room.

The best I can determine is that 3BM is a Chinese company… which isn’t saying much since they probably are all made there.
