Form where I can begin learning robot making through Internet?
Its just that I am interested in gadgets,etc.and i would like to learn simple robot making, i would also like to know from where i can learn modifying gadgets, like adding a camera to a remote control car,etc (BASICALLY I AM INTERESTED IN EDITING A REMOTE CONTROL CAR OR MAKING A SIMPLE ROBOT)

I wish to build my own rc boat. I already have an rc plane (sky fly 2) and want to use the same reciever for the boat. Questions:
- what type of motor to get? i believe it uses a brushed motor so I’ll stick with that but what rpms should I be looking for if I want to use the boat in the ocean?
- the servos? the servos on the plane are small. Can the receiver handle a larger servo?
-battery capacity? the battery pack that comes with the plane is a 900mAh 8.4V pack. Can I upgrade capacity (hook two up in parallel) or will the motor draw more current and burn out?

Ok, I would get one of the new water cooled electric motors. I dont know if that would work in the ocean with the salt and all, but that has some power…..
I would stick to the same servos out of the plane.. they are made to fit that receiver… I would try to do that it could harm the receiver…
For the battery you could get on that has more mAh… That shouldn’t effect the receiver or servos or any thing….You could parallel but, that is a little heavier than buying a more mAh battery…

I have my own remote control, servo battery, I will go to buy another motor and esc for the Heli.
Based on this, which one heli should I buy I want to do 3D (rolling) in low price (hope less then $150)

Ebay has some good deals. I got a new Axe Cpl on ebay for 160 bucks http://www.towerhobbies.com has some of the best online prices. Decide what you want and then google that heli for the lowest prices
